Jason attends a cabinet training class at Festool USA headquarters in Lebanon, Indiana.  



October 2009

Jason attends the Gary Katz Road show in Lincoln, Nebraska to stay up to date on his carpentry techniques

June 2010

Jason attends the Alpine Technical Workshop in Ouray, Colorado.  This four day workshop featured European Tilt and Turn Windows along with Lift and Slide Doors.

July 2010

CECW purchases a Felder IV78 Window tooling set. Tilt & Turn Windows, Lift & Slide Doors, Euro Entry Doors, Shutters, etc. are now ready to start being produced in the shop.


February 2011

CECW purchases a Format 4 Profile 45 Shaper & Felder FVP 2401 Frame Press to speed window and door production.


July 2011

Jason Davis attends The Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers Fair (AWFS) in Las Vegas, Nevada.



December 2011

CECW purchases hydraulic punch press to assist in window hardware assembly. Jason also purchases a SCMI two head wide belt sander to speed up sanding processes.


January 2012

Cutting Edge Cabinetry & Woodworking purchases a Fillon Technologies stain mixing station to mix and match all colors in house.  

March 2012

Jason toured Europe with several other woodworking professionals. Window and door shops were visited in Italy, Austria, & Germany. The trip was concluded at the fensterbau/frontale & HOLZ-HANDWERK trade shows in Nuremberg, Germany.

July 2013

CECW attends The Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers Fair (AWFS) in Las Vegas, Nevada.



February 2013

The first shipment of Accoya arrives at Cutting Edge Cabinetry & Woodworking for an upcoming project.


March 2013

CECW improves finishing process by adding overhead finishing trolley. Now our products will roll through the finishing process cutting down production time.

May 2007

CECW relocates to larger facility in rural Graham County outside of Hill City, Kansas.  


June 2005

Jason Davis opens Cutting Edge Cabinetry & Woodworking (CECW) in a small building in Hill City, Kansas.  


August 2014

Cutting Edge Cabinetry & Woodworking attends International Woodworking Fair (IWF) in Atlanta, Georgia to keep up on the new products available to the industry.

July 2007

Jason attends The Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers Fair (AWFS) in Las Vegas, Nevada.


May 2008

CECW upgrades saw to a Felder KF700SP Sliding Table Saw/Shaper to meet current demand for products, improve accuracy, and added functions.


June 2009

CECW purchases a Felder FD921 Boring Machine to speed the production of European style frameless construction, plus add strength and precision with dowels. An Italian Casadei V320 Edgebander was also added.
