“Quality Defined By Pride In Craftsmanship & Innovation”

Despite its name, Spanish Cedar is a hardwood; therefore, not a Cedar at all and is also not Spanish.  Spanish Cedar actually comes from the Meliaceae family, along with Mahogany. Spanish Cedar is similar to Genuine Mahogany in its beautiful coloration, attractive grain pattern, and great workability.  The wood’s natural aroma repels insects and the high resin count makes it very weather and rot resistant.

Accoya - The Ideal Wood for Windows & Doors

Accoya is based upon acetylated wood technology, a process that has been studied by scientists around the world for more than 75 years. This method of improving wood has been proven to deliver such superior performance that it has long been used as the “gold standard” against which other methods are measured.

Accoya wood has been modified right through to the core and the acetylation process does not weaken the original wood – in fact, its hardness is improved – nor does it compromise its bending strength. Therefore, combined with exceptional durability and stability, Accoya wood can be an ideal material for structural requirements and has been used in bridges and other large structures around the world.

Southern Cypress

Native to the Southern US, Cypress trees are conifers that grow in wet or waterlogged areas of the south. This softwood species generates cypressene, a naturally occurring preservative oil that makes Cypress heartwood resistant to insects, decay, chemical corrosion, and other damaging elements making it an ideal wood for exterior use. Besides being superb for exterior use, it is also very attractive and is often used indoor as well. African Mahogany - Khaya

African Mahogany, or also known as Khaya, is an affordable alternative to Genuine Mahogany. Sourced from Africa, this species has a pale reddish brown color and is also harder than most Mahoganies. The straight interlocking grain make this an ideal wood for exterior applications, such as windows and doors. We recommend this species for stain grade applications, as the coloring is quite unique.

Red Grandis

This South American species, Red Grandis, is a high-grade timber with consistency in appearance, grain and workability. Often used in furniture, cabinets, mouldings and within the window and door frame industry. Sustainably sourced wood, a single species harvested from a single plantation grown under identical growing conditions. Features excellent strength and stiffness with a natural durability to fungi. It also serves as an excellent alternative to Spanish Cedar and Mahogany for exterior applications.
